Page from 'De omnibus humani corporis interioribus membris Anathomia' ("Anatomy of all interior parts of the human body"), a text first published in 1316 by en:Mondino de Liuzzi, although printed editions did not exist until 175 years later. The book is recognised as the first anatomical text and was taken as authoritative until the 16th Century. This page mostly consists of a diagram showing the twelve signs of the en:Zodiac relating to human body parts, with some lines of Latin text at the top. The Latin text includes a date, "Anno Domini MDxiii" (1513 AD).
